RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM SUSPENDED:

In its 2022 legislative session, the Missouri General Assembly made numerous changes to the State’s Division of Finance review of each residential PACE program. The resulting report was critical of some of the practices conducted by a third party administrator under the authority of the statute.

After careful consideration, we, in conjunction with program providers, concluded that continuing to offer residential PACE in a manner that satisfied the statutory requirements would increase the costs to homeowners to an extent that residential PACE would be unworkable. As a result, we have terminated the residential PACE program offering and shifted the focus exclusively to commercial PACE.

A number of homeowners have asked when we would reinstitute the Residential PACE program, but, unfortunately, we will not revisit our decision unless and until the Missouri PACE Act is revised.
